About Jaco

Jacó is a coastal city in Costa Rica's Puntarenas province, located on the Pacific Ocean. Jacó is approximately a 90 minutes drive from San José, its popularity has attracted a very large number tourists, since Jacó is popular for its surfing and lively nightlife. It lies about 15 miles south of the popular Carara National Park, restaurants, shops, nightclubs and discos as well as a many expensive homes. Jaco is also home of Playa Hermosa, an international renowned surf spot, many surfers come visit Costa Rica with the plan of surfing on this beach, the main interest of Jaco is surf, and the nightlife, there are many places for entertainment at night.
